Up for sale is a Sterling by MusicMan Stingray with a number of great upgrades done by a professional technician. The upgrades are:
1 genuine 1979 pick guard installed (USA)
2 1979 Ernie Ball Music Man Pickup (USA)
3 1979 Ernie Ball Music Man preamp (USA)
4 the control plate is also from a 1979 Ernie Ball Music Man (USA)
This was a double pickup bass, but I had one of the pickups removed and the pick guard covers it

This is a well worn 1976 Music Man Sting Ray Bass that comes with a non original hard case   Has a lot of non original parts but sounds and plays great   The body has been previously routed for a non original preamp but it's covered up by the pickguard.
Original parts are the body, neck, control plate, bridge, saddles, mute screws, neck plate and neck plate screws  
Non original parts are the pickguard and pickguard screws, tuners are from a 1990's bass, nut, John East ... more

Here is a beautiful EARNIE BALL MUSIC MAN 4 STRING BASS GUITAR. Serial number BO23XXX is located under the bridge saddles. The best I can tell, it is from 1983 or 1984 but I do not know for sure. If anyone out there could give me any more accurate info, I would surely appreciate it. It works, sounds, and plays great. it has the expected few dings around the edges, but nothing really bad (see pictures).
