Vintage guitars for sale: Silvertone

Would probably mail this disassembled I did not get sound from the jack but I would say the wiring needs addressed. See photosI had a string on there in photos to check sound and to kind of hold the bridge in place. You can see paint that has been added and looks like there was a sticker on the front at one time and some paint removed from the back of the neck. Needs a lot of love I assume this is an old Silvertone but I don't know how to determine the year of the instrument. Maybe you do?

This is a very good used specimen of this wonderful, vintage guitar.
Toggle switch cover and screws are not original.
Extra strap pin appears to have been added   I haven't seen a photo of the pin on another example to be able to compare.
All else appears to be original, including the unique pickups and the pick guard.

Vintage 1954 Kay made Silvertone electric guitar, Aristocrat model 1356. This is the first version with the beautiful mother of pearl and abalone Trident fret markers. This is a Vintage 1967 Silvertone Model 1484 Twin Twelve 2x12 Guitar Combo head and cabinet. Silvertone was a trade name of the Sears, Co. This amp was made in the USA by Danelectro. Vintage 1960??s Silvertone 1482 tube amp. Aside from a slight tear in the grill cloth, the amp is in fantastic shape for its age. Everything works exactly as it should. 1959 Silvertone Model 1431 Combo Amplifier - Working - Read
Amp is in great shape, its volume knob is a little dirty and needs a clean. Its gets that crackling when you turn it sometimes, im not great at fixing vintage electronics so im not going to mess with it but when this used to happen to my tour amp i would just clean the knobs out and it would be fine. The tubes also work but probably need a change as well. It is all original parts and working

Very bizarre 1960s Silvertone Convertible hollow body guitar. Made by Danelectro for Sears.

Many Danelectro branded Convertibles were made, but I??ve only seen one other Silvertone branded version. As you can see, instead of the white binding found on the Danelectro model, this has dark blue tolex, the same as used on mid 60s Danelectro amps. This guitar is super cool. If you want a guitar with a piece of EVH history, this is it. Did you know that this model was EVH's first guitar? We didn't know until we did some sleuthing deep on the internet achieves and found a picture of young Eddie Van Halen with his first guitar, a Teisco Del Rey WG-4L 4 Pickup electric guitar. This is an awesome amp. I hate to part with it, but at last it must go. This amp was given to me by the original owner who bought it when he was 19 back in the early 1960's. It is very used. It has much to be desired in the cosmetic department, and when I first got it I had to replace 2 or 3 flat mount bolts to secure the 15" guitar speaker. Thanks for looking! I purchased this guitar used maybe 15 years ago. Since, I had a new nut cut to widen strings a bit (narrow 1 56 inch board at nut - great for small hands!) - and I purchased a used Johnny Smith pickguard - installed by pro. I got the pickguard from a shop closing in NOLA quarter maybe 12 years ago - 100 cash - I doubt there was much in the way of knockoffs back then, but I can??t be certain it is from a Gibson. That said, it is really tight work on 5 ply and pickup / knobs. ... more

Vintage 1957 Harmony Silvertone H-62 Archtop Guitar Body Neck. This listing is for the body / neck, truss rod cover and switch plate. No other parts are included. These guitars came with Gibson P13 pickups and were one of Harmony's high-end models. Guitar was refinished sometime in the past. A great project guitar, comprising of a body from a 1966 Harmony H54 'Rocket' body and a neck from a 1962 Silvertone 1454. Both came from the same factory (Chicago, USA), are wholly compatible and would make a great 60s USA archtop project!
