These came as standard equipment on Japan Epiphone Rivoli, Aria and Penco EB Series basses and some Univox & Greco models. It's quite hard-to-find these days as a result of limited production. This is a very strong pickup with 2-conductor wiring so it's very easy to install. It registers a very strong 9 00k on my trusty meter so you know it means business. There's nothing worse than not having a cover for that big Gibson bass humbucker. It's one butt-ugly pickup without it! This is correct for late 1965 thru 1970 EB-O, EB-2 and EB-3 models as well as 1969 & 1970 EB-1 basses. It will also fit Epiphone Rivoli basses. Here is a 1953 Rivoli mandolin (sn. 65982). Right now in Felix Wiedler's Unofficial New York Epiphone Registry database, there are only 27 Rivoli listed. That is amazingly few, given that the Rivoli was listed in every Epiphone catalog from 1932-1954! Btw, if you like pre-Gibson Epiphones, I cannot recommend Felix's website highly enough!
