A Giannini with a beautiful patina. The tone of this guitar is not just warm, but almost soft. The sound shape is unusual, and very hard to describe. I have never tried this particular guitar with a carbon string set, and I am sad to see it go. I??m willing to ship with a nice set of strings, and may be convinced to restring for the buyer.

For sale, a somewhat rare (?) vintage Giannini AWS-740. Made in 1974 and has the serial number #06 1974. Bought in 1974 from Abbey Music, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK. I am the only owner of the guitar and have had it for 49 years, but sadly it does not get played anymore as I have moved over to acoustic bass and need to thin down my so-called ?collection?? of guitars, so it is time for it to go to a new and caring home, perhaps a collector of Giannini guitars?
