Carvin Electric Guitar 1980s Curly Maple Finish w / Hard Case. This item is pre-owned but still in good playing condition. Item does have a couple of issues. Missing truss rod cover, there are some scratches and scuffs, some cracking around pick ups and obviously some fret wear. All electronics do work, there is no fret buzzing. Based on Catalog Information, and given the serial number of 5032 (Carvin started with #5000 in 1970), this fine guitar could have been built anytime during 1970-72. However, we're going with 1972 because Carvin dating is not accurate and the only mention of this burst body style is in the 1972 catalog

The Vintage 16 is the low-wattage, "boutique" recording tube amp so many players are looking for. Everything about this little amp "oozes" tone. True vintage early 1980??s. Serial number 15148. Natural. Neck and headstock were painted. Carvin logo on headstock was painted over but is still barely visible. Streak of white paint down side of neck. Not sure if fret board was changed or repaired? Fret board plays nicely. Truss rod plate is missing. Strap button on neck side was moved around a couple times leaving a couple small holes. Schaller machine head tuners. Some pitting on a couple tuning pegs.
