Beautiful amp in nice shape for its age. Sounds amazing. Tremolo is awesome. Tweed Is clean and smooth with some stains on bottom. Even those feel smooth. Original p10r speaker sounds great. original transformers. Vintage tubes. Just gone through and functioning perfectly with tone that is killer. three prong chord added. the silk screening on faceplate that tells you what control is which is gone but it??s pretty simple To figure out. Outstanding example of a gibson tweed! Dead quiet with zero issues. Wood pedal for tremolo looks cool as heck.
I currently have a weber speaker in there, but you can choose the original jensen if you want. I don't really hear a difference between them, I was just scared of blowing out the original one. I had a tech install a 3 prong cable as well. Local pickup in Brooklyn, CT only.... more

Vintage Tweed Extension Guitar Amp Speaker Cabinet Project 1950s-60's Utah Spkr
Came from the estate of a guitar player
Cabinet is fairly rough but still sturdy
Has vintage Utah speaker Made in USA   I think it is 12 inch but could be 10 (Hard to measure)
Speaker looks pretty good
Untested and no idea of any sound as you can tell by the cord   Someone must have played on a huge stage to need a cord so long

A quirky public address amplifier dating to the 1950s. This would have been part of a large projector system, and it seems to have PA and recording options of some sort. The power amp valves present are:
1 X Brimar 12AU7, long plate, hard to tell but I think a square getter 1 X Mullard ECC83 standard plate, halo getter1 X Mullard ECC83 long plate, halo getter
Other valves are:
1 X Brimar 6X42 X 6BR7

Very nice vintage 1950's Gallotone champion the same model as John Lennon's first guitar. Not that many of these around now in this nice original condition and highly sort after by fans and Beatles collectors.
