This is a very nice original example of a 1975 Gibson L6-S. The only non original part is the exchange of the bridge pickup to a Dimarzio, which was common on these guitars back in the day. Great condition with only a few minor dings and worming on the back, not through the finish. It has moderate fret wear with plenty of life left. It was designed almost to be a lightweight LP. Serial number dates it as being a 1975-1980 model. I??ve owned it since the early 90??s. It fell off a stand in the late 90??s and slightly cracked the headstock. It didn??t break completely. It wasn??t even a loose crack but I didn??t want to make it worse so it sat in my closet until earlier this year. It was plugged in so the pick guard was also cracked at the jack.

The serial number is "606162" which dates it to early 1975. Fender changed from the 4-bolt to 3-bolt on this model in 1974 so this one's probably one of the last! The pots date to February and July 1974 (137-7405 and 7429). The date codes on the pickups and neck are not readable

Wer darüber weiß, weiß davon - aber viele wohl nicht: Mitte der 70er Jahre brachte Orange einen Transistoramp heraus, der war in Jeans-Stoff und Leder gekleidet. Und die passenden Boxen gab's dazu hier eine davon. Here for sale 1975 Gibson Marauder with Rosewood Fretboard in Natural. The Marauder features a contoured single-cutaway Les Paul-shaped body, and a bolt on a maple neck with a headstock similar to the Flying V's. The guitar is in good overall playing condition. Well loved by a man in Vancouver in the 70s who passed away.
This guitar though slightly scuffed in spots and missing a string knob and 2 string holders at the bottom (as pictured) has a nice straight neck and is solid and sound It is currently stringed as a 6 string so it would need new strings to be played as a 12

Although many Japanese guitars claim to be "Ibanez " , unless it's wearing that glorious word on the headstock it's just not the same! Made in 1975, the 2342 59'er model features an unbound arched birch top, mahogany body, slim 60's maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and weighs 4 2kg's. The most expensive bass model featured in Greco's 1975 catalog, the SB-850 was the Suzi Quatro model Thunderbird bass. Quatro was contacted by Greco during a Japanese tour in 1974 where they offered to build her a bass to her specs as a gift. Made by Japan's famous Matsumoku factory in mid 1975, this is a Westminster branded Jazz Bass that aimed at replicating Fender's 70's JB aesthetic with a bound fingerboard and block inlays. Mahogany body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, this one was professionally converted into a fretless model by our tech Vaughan by removing the original frets and re-lining them to match the binding and the inlays perfectly.
