The serial number is "569223" which dates it to 1974. The pots date to November 1973 (137-7345) and the pickups have 1974 date codes. This one has the rare original blonde finish! The body is in very good condition overall, but has some small dings, scratches, scuffs and wear. Nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage guitar and no cracks or structural issues

For your consideration here is a 1973-74 Ibanez Les Paul style gold top electric guitar. Made in Japan, Pre-lawsuit collectors' guitar, note the open book headstock. It has a bolt on neck. This is not a modern reissue! A relatively rare find, this Fender thinline tele from 1974. It has its stock wide range humbuckers which sound fantastic. Single volume and tone knobs. For sale I have my 1974 master volume Twin Reverb, it's in superb condition for a 50 year old amp apart from little nicks on the tolex as you can see in the photos. For sale, a somewhat rare (?) vintage Giannini AWS-740. Made in 1974 and has the serial number #06 1974. Bought in 1974 from Abbey Music, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK. Made by the Fujigen factory in 1974, the EG-650B was one of Greco's earliest set-neck models that truly took aim at Gibson's Les Paul Custom design. Made by the Matsumoku factory in Japan in 1974, this absolute back breaker of a Greco PB is one from the muscle folk. Solid 5pc sen (ash) body with a maple neck (dot inlays and a 41mm nut width), it weighs a mammoth 5kg's. It's got one replacement knob and what looks to be a replacement pickguard but still has the original bridge, tuners and Maxon made pickup that all work perfectly.

All original built in 1974 and loaded with Maxon pickups it is a fantastic sounding and playing guitar. Quality Japanese craftmanship built to last. Maple top on Birch body with a 3 piece maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The neck is straight , action low and plays flawlessly all up the fretboard. There is some fretware but it isn't really noticeable. Pickups are the original Maxon U-500 and they have a real nice grippy tone that takes a lot of gain / overdrive and they seem to sustain forever.... more
