This was my Dad's guitar from the 60s when he was a teenager. I have recently inherited it. Model T-100 and Serial No. EE-712. This is a 1966 - 1968 Fender Jaguar electric guitar. What makes this somewhat of a rare guitar is that the hardware is all dated to 1966, but the logo on the headstock (which is partially rubbed off) dates to 1968. My best guess on this is that it was assembled in 1968 using 1966 parts, and a 1968 decal / logo put on. The decal on the headstock is original and tested under blacklight. This is a neat early Mustang Bass from Fender. This 1966 model sports a Dakota Red finish with all original parts and electronics.
The bass and original case are extremely clean. There is checking on the body and headstock, as well as some light dings and topical scratches. 1966 Ampeg Portaflex B-15-N Bass amplifier that I purchased from the original owner. This amp is in perfect working order, there is no noise, hissing, or any other noise that a tube amp should not have. Here is a legendary Wilder 12" musical instrument and HiFi speaker. It has a few flaws but functions perfectly. One terminal wire was rejoined by solder and it looks as if a single drop of molten solder passed through the skiver roll. No big deal and hasn't been repaired. Another minor tear has been repaired. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan (later, around 1968 was made in Lincolnwood, Illinois) 100% original. Original cable too 9037 on front, seems to be the serial number. According to coda-effects com it was manufactured in very early 1966 100% full working fuzz itself but original jack needs fix or substitute, it sounds scraching depending on what position is plugged to the guitar (as it usualy happends when a jack cables is very used, remember this is 57 years old pedal!!!) Both channels sound fantastic. However, the vibrato effect has stopped working so the amp needs a service. (Probably it just needs a new optocoupler which cost about £10 ) The vibrato channel still operates normally except for the vibrato itself
