This listing is for one (1) Stratocaster Pickup cover. This came off a 1959 Fender Stratocaster. This is a 3 mold mark style which was found from late 1954-1960. Very dull, no gloss at all. Might have been cleaned with an abrasive at some point. Like most heavily used stock covers from this particular era, this has a chalky, discolored look. 3 mold marks are very hard to find. Sellers usually sell later 2 mold mark styles as older than they are. Sold as is.

Genuine 1959 Fender Stratocaster with lots of nice checking and natural patina. Partially refinished (you hardly notice, it is well done). Features pickups wound by William van Zandt and installed in the late 80s. They are exact reproductions of the pickups van Zandt made for Stevie Ray Vaughn. You could hardly get closer to a perfect guitar!

* orange interior, has stains & wear
* the leather piece for opening the strings compartment is gone
* brown tolex is actually in pretty good shape
* leather ends are VERY WORN =check last 5 pics
* both latches have dead springs
* handle is just plain metal=leather is gone
* 2 feet are missing on side=check last pic
* 1 foot is slightly pushed in
