This Fender Jazz Bass was made in the USA in 1964. Neck date is January '64. The parts are completely original although the neck pickup has been rewound. The body has been refinished a long time ago in sonic blue that has faded to almost white. It is an old refin that was well done and has aged nicely giving the bass a great look. This bass is original with the exception of the BADASS bridge that was likely installed shortly after the original purchase. This bass had a refin in Paris but was originally natural. MIJ Vintage Fender Contemporary Power Jazz Bass Special I believe is from 1987 though don't hold me to it. Pretty rare thay don't show up that often.
Plays and sounds great. Has a tbx tone control and a filter preamp, you can get some really interesting tones out of it

Verkaufe einen alten Vintage 1974 Jazz Bass mit Ahorn Griffbrett Pearl Einlagen und Esche Korpus. Es wurden die Control Plate und die Bridge ausgetauscht, die Orginal Bridge und Control Plate sind aber separat vorhanden!. Der Bass ist sehr schwer (5kg) was für Jazz Bässe aus den 70er sehr oft der Fall ist, hat aber dadurch auch einen charakteristischen Sound. Die Halsschraube zum Einstellen des Spannstabes klemmt. I sell now one of the best piece I have, a JV JazzBass from 1983. Ask more pictures if interested. It's truely a wonderful instrument in every way. The top grade of the japanese plant. Body is made with nitrocellulose lacquer. The pickups are fullerton pickups. The neck shape is perfectly in the style of 60s, thin, slender with round edge.
